Have you experienced weight loss or a drop in appetite leading to malnutrition? Or perhaps you are a carer or relative looking after someone who has. The situation could have been compounded by an underlying medical condition, a hospital stay, social isolation, depression or any number of other factors. Keeping to a healthy weight is important in later life but getting the right nutrients and eating enough can sometimes be challenging.
Malnutrition isn’t always obvious but when it does become apparent, you can start to do something about it. To get an insight into what it’s really like to live with malnutrition, Abbott would like to hear from you. We’d like to know the following:
- What advice you’ve received
- Who the advice came from
- What the best piece of advice was
- Which resources you’ve found most helpful
If you’d be willing to share your story, you can do this in a number of ways. You could email us at ukabbottnutrition@abbott.com, you could phone us on 0800 252 882 and choose option 3 or you could share your story as a short (no more than 90 seconds) video on your personal mobile phone. For anyone calling us, we will be happy to call you back.
What we learn from your story could help other people in the same situation. If you’d like to be involved, please contact us. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially and is for internal Abbott use only.
Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon.
