Apple Cake Pudding

Apple Cake Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml margarine or butter
  • 250 ml flour
  • 5 ml baking powder
  • 60 ml Vanilla PediaSure Complete®
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 medium tin of Pie Apples

Instructions on how to make it:

  • Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs and beat well.
  • Add all dry ingredients and PediaSure Complete® alternately. Mix well.
  • Pour into a greased pyrex dish.
  • Arrange pie apples on top of mixture.
  • Bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.

Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 190 ml Vanilla PediaSure Complete®
  • 60 ml sugar
  • 50 ml butter/margarine
  • 5 ml vanilla essence

Instructions on how to make it:

  • Mix together in a saucepan.
  • Stir over gentle heat until butter has melted and sugar has dissolved.
  • Pour over pudding as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Serve with PediaSure Complete® custard.
